Stripe’s dashboard tells you what was paid. It can’t tell you the post that sent the buyer, because Stripe never saw the visit.
What you get
- Revenue beside visitors for every channel, referrer and campaign, and for each landing page, country and device.
- Every sale with its source, the time it took and the pages seen.
- Renewals credited to whoever bought the subscription, and refunds taken off the same source.
- The last 12 months of sales imported when you connect.
How the match works
The script tags Payment Links at click time. Checkout Sessions you create on your server pass the visitor id as client_reference_id or metadata. Your success page acts as a fallback. The Stripe guide has the code.
