Analytics that live in your Cloudflare account

There's no box to look after. No VPS, no Docker, no Postgres.

Most self-hosted analytics need a server you patch, back up and watch. DataPenny needs a Cloudflare account.

What you run

  • One Worker: takes events, serves the API and dashboard, receives webhooks.
  • One D1 database: visits, sales and settings.
  • Two secrets: your dashboard password and an encryption key.

What it costs

Nothing from us. Cloudflare’s free plan fits most small sites, at roughly 25,000 pageviews a day. Busier sites pay Cloudflare $5 a month. The free plan page has the numbers.

What it talks to

Your install has no license server and sends us no telemetry. It only talks to the services you turn on: your payment providers, Telegram if you use alerts, and Frankfurter for daily exchange rates. In your browser, the dashboard fetches map tiles from OpenFreeMap and site icons from DuckDuckGo.

Getting it

From a clone, npm run setup does the rest. The install guide has every step.
